Nintendo Or George As I Call Him

"Despite the frequent release of new Mario titles, Nintendo does not believe it is diluting the power of the esteemed platforming brand. 
Speaking with Shacknews, Nintendo senior director of corporate communications Charlie Scibetta said so long as each new entry is innovative, the Mario brand will not lose its freshness."

Wow, no honestly I think they have lost it. Mario as a franchise is more diluted than one guys piss in a giant swimming pool and each game is as about as fresh as the squirrel its gutted for the suit on Mario Wii U.
This statement annoys me because I loved the Mario games as a child and even enjoyed the one for the DS, but this is mostly because I didn't play the Wii one till much later. I swear to god they must have killed Satoru Iwata and are now using him as some kind of meat puppet or are wearing him in some corporate version of the Texas chainsaw massacre where us the reviewers have just pulled a gun out of our vaginas.
I miss when Nintendo was at least trying to be unique and different, but they have just fallen prey to the George Lucas Complex, just churning out the same shameless shit.
